According to information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 57,546 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 39,284 antigen tests and 18,262 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 5,486 newly confirmed cases of the virus were detected. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 968,313.
In the last 24 hours, 2,893 people recovered from the virus, while the total number of people recovered increased to 916,421.
46 new cases of coronavirus death have been reported. A total of 14,264 people have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic.
