Georgia reports 1,751 new cases of coronavirus, 30 deaths


According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 42,657 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 28,199 antigen tests and 14,458 PCR tests.

The testing revealed 1,751 new cases of the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 614,763.

As of September 30, the daily positive rate is 4.1%, for the last 14 days - 5.80% and for 7 days - 5.22%.

In the last 24 hours, 1,633 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of people recovered increased to 586,704.

30 new deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 8,976 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

Out of 1,751 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 559 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 121, Imereti - 311, Kvemo Kartli - 97, Shida Kartli - 93, Guria - 33, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 183, Kakheti - 269, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 39, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 33, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 13.
