Today, February 24, Russia launched a full-scale war against Ukraine. In Batumi, Europe Square, citizens gathered against the war and in support of Ukraine.
Georgian citizens, along with Ukrainians, also express their support for Ukraine on Europe Square.
Shortly after Putin's start of the war, the bombing of strategic facilities in the suburbs of Ukrainian cities, including Kiev, began. World leaders have also made statements in support of Ukraine.
According to the protesters, the process that took place against Ukraine is identical to the processes that took place in 2008, during the Georgian-Russian war.
Citizens at the rally said the whole world should say that Russia is the occupier and that its violence should end.
