Georgian citizens over 50 to receive 200 GEL for vaccination against COVID-19

The 200 GEL vaccination promotion campaign will continue in January. The age limit will be lowered to citizens over 50, who will receive the bonus if vaccinated against COVID-19.

There is enough money allocated from the budget, which will be enough to give a 200-GEL incentive to all Georgian citizens above 50 years of age," Chief of the Operational Staff of the Interagency Coordination Council Giorgi Gibradze said.

The bonus is given to those receiving a first dose of the vaccine.

Until now, only individuals over 60 years of age were able to receive the 200-GEL bonus.

As of December 21, a total of 92,110 Georgian citizens have benefited from the vaccination promotion program.
