Georgia reports 2,191 new cases of coronavirus, 74 deaths


According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 21,477 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 13,204 antigen tests and 8,273 PCR tests.

As a result of the testing, 2,191 newly confirmed cases of virus infection were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 755,046.

As for the positive rate, as of November 7, the daily positive rate is 10.2%, for the last 14 days - 9.64% and for 7 days - 10.41%.

In the last 24 hours, 4,348 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to to 693,129.

74 deaths from coronavirus were in the last 24 hours. A total of 10,509 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

Out of 2,191 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 1,017 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 89, Imereti - 362, Kvemo Kartli - 146, Shida Kartli - 81, Guria - 58, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 140, Kakheti - 162, Mtskheta- Mtianeti - 64, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 52, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti -20.
