The death toll in completely vaccinated people stands at three in Georgia, head of Georgia's National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Amiran Gamkrelidze said today.
He stated that Covid-19 has become the number one cause of death both in Georgia and worldwide.
It (coronavirus) surpassed the first cause of death (in Georgia) cardiovascular disease and the second one - cancer...out of every thousand infected, unfortunately, 10-15-20 people die,” Gamkrelidze stated.
Gamkrelidze also stated that the chances of virus transmission among fully vaccinated people are quite low, noting that few fully vaccinated individuals have required hospitalisation so far.
